Name of the register -online store customer register

Purpose of processing of personal data/purpose of the register

The information contained in the Register is primarily used for processing and delivering orders to Metsola's customers. Other uses include customer relationship management, marketing, targeting, data analysis and other issues relating to our online service. The information in the register is also used for customer communications, including any direct marketing. Every customer has the right to refuse direct marketing.

Register contents

The Register collects basic customer information. This includes first name, last name, email address, phone number, street address, zip code and postal address. Other information collected can include customer generated information, customer relationship management information, information relating to the subscription and content of the service, customer history, customer satisfaction information, and marketing and customer service related information. We do not collect payment information or personal identification numbers.

Regular sources of information

The Registrar will only retain information about the online store customer that they provide when using the website. Information is updated as needed during the customer interaction. The register may also include personal data of individuals with whom Metsola is working to establish a relationship. This information is gathered as a part of daily business with the registrants or via companies providing registrant information.

Disclosures and transfer of data outside the EU or the EEA

Unless legally required to disclose specific information, the Registrar will never disclose the information to any unauthorized person without proper consent. Information is provided to the authorities in legal cases. External service providers may be used to provide the service and data will be transferred for this purpose.

Information will only be disclosed to outside parties to the extent that orders to the customer and technical solutions require it (eg transportation companies).

Data is not routinely disclosed outside the EU or the European Economic Area.

Rights of the registrant

The registrant has the right to verify the information stored in the register concerning them by submitting a written and signed request to Metsola Lifestyle Oy.

In the event of errors in the registered data, the registrant may submit a request for rectification. Requests for access rights, correction, addition or deletion of information must be made to: Metsola Lifestyle Oy, Pulkkisentie 23 A, 90440 Oulu.

The registrant has the right to prohibit the use of their data in direct marketing. The request for prohibition must be sent by email to The registrant cannot ask the registrar to delete the information needed to process and deliver orders.

Registry security principles

Appropriate technical and administrative measures are taken to ensure the security of the customer register of the online store. Data is protected, inter alia, by a firewall, device space protection, permissions, and encryption technologies.

Access to personal data shall only be granted if it is necessary for the processing of the data. All processors of personal data are under a duty of confidentiality.

Welcome to Metsola's online store! Here you will find useful information with regards to ordering, delivery and returns.

All prices are in Euros (€).

You can place orders from our online store as a registered customer or as a guest.

If any of our products are out of stock we will notify you as soon as possible.

We do not combine orders received at different times. If you would like to make changes to your order, you may do so vi a customer refund or by placing a new order.

We reserve the right to change delivery methods during promotions.

Our online store uses the Klarna Checkout (only in Finland) and Paypal (Finland and international) payment systems.

With Klarna Checkout, you can pay for your order via invoice, monthly payment, online banking, or credit card. Please note that the default is set to payment after shipping. You are not required to make payment prior to your order shipped.

Klarna Checkout includes all Klarna payment methods: Pay Now, (Card payments, Online Banking and Klarna Direct Payment, Pay Later (Invoice) and Split Payment (monthly payment). The Klarna payment system identifies the customer, therefore the package pick-up point needs to be mainly within 10km from the original delivery address.

Klarna Checkout guarantees you will be able to shop safely regardless of your payment method.

Shipping costs will be automatically added to your order based on the shipping method you choose. All orders are shipped as parcels and will have a tracking number assigned to them.

Postage to EU countries

Parcel Connect by Finland's Posti / 4,90 € (this service is available at the momenti for 24 countries in Europe). The Parcel Connect product is realized in cooperation with DHL and Bring. Posti produces the Parcel Connect deliveries in four countries: In addition to Finland, Posti has constructed an Itella Parcel Shop pickup point network in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.

Shipping outside of EU 15,90 €.

Full or partial returns from outside of Finland will incur a shipping fee of 9,90 €.

Product exchanges or return of defective items is free of charge.

If you are replacing or returning a defective product, we will arrange a free refund for your shipment. Email us at and we will send you instructions for completing your return.

Delivery time

We aim for fast mailing. Your order will be shipped within 1-3 business days of receiving your order.

We reserve the right to change delivery times during different promotions (eg SALE, Drop Days, Black Friday).


Please inspect your order as soon as you receive it. As a consumer, you have the right to both inspect your items and try them out. Upon receipt of your order, you are entitled by law (as dictated by Finland Consumer Protection legislation) to a 14 day right of return.

It is equally important to inspect your order upon receipt even if you have purchased it for later use or as a gift. Do not wash your item unless you have checked it and have made the decision to keep it.

Returns products must be unused and must still have their original sales tags. All returns will be inspected prior to a refund or exchange being processed. Please pack the products neatly for return so they can be returned to stock immediately if appropriate. Products may be returned to us in their original packaging or in another durable bag / box.

After the return of a part order, if the order value is less than the free shipping limit, postage will be deducted from the refund.

We do not accept returns made more than 14 days after receiving the shipment.

Returns will generally be processed within 1-2 business days of their arrival. Refunds will be issued via your original payment method.

Failure to collect an order is not classed as a return. Any order not collected in Finland will incur a shipping and handling fee of 10 €. Any order not collected outside Finland will incur a handling fee of 10,00 € + shipping cost back to Finland.


When returning products, you can send them using our Customer Return IDs

The Customer Return ID for Posti is 615413 and for Matkahuolto is 9525694. Use the most economical shipping method for your returns. Enter the Metsola address and the Customer Return ID of your choice in the package. Please be sure to include a return form with your contact information.

Posti's "Palauta Helposti" code is also a convenient way to make customer returns when have made the order via Posti:

All product exchanges are free.

If, after the return of a part order, the order amount is less than 100 €, postage will also be deducted from the refundable amount.

Please remember to keep your return receipt until your return is processed. The receipt serves as proof that you have returned the package and it is on its way to us.
